- topics: Social problems and processes of transformation in the new states of the former Soviet Union, economic anthropology, Russian and Soviet ethnography and sociology, development of a civil society, living conditions in the former SU and EE

- since October 2002 working as a lecturer of German language at the Technical University of Liberec (Czech Republic)

- organizing of various cultural events in cooperation with the Austrian library in Liberec
